NetSupport Continues To Deliver Business Continuity Services For Interflora
United Kingdom

NetSupport is delighted to announce that it will continue to provide Interflora with business continuity and workplace recovery services following a twelve month extension to their partnership.

Headquartered in Sleaford, South Lincolnshire, the world’s largest and most popular flower delivery network recognises that having a disaster recovery plan is a key business objective to ensure continuity of service for its customers.

The company operates three main sales channels: at Interflora florists, through a contact centre, or via the internet. Whichever channel is used, orders are transacted through a central order processing system. System reliability and scalability is therefore critical, especially during the key periods of Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Christmas, when a substantial number of transactions are processed per day.

Following an initial internal review of its business continuity requirements, Interflora decided that optimum cover would be achieved by partnering with a company that would be able to offer replication of its application data in a secure data centre environment, together with workplace recovery facilities so that key staff could easily transfer at a moment’s notice in the event of an unforeseen event affecting customer service.

Interflora invited proposals from a number of national and local vendors before selecting NetSupport’s state-of-the-art data centre and recovery facilities.
